I had the blues coz I had no shoes

Life is ful of reasons.

Wow, when they say it's all a matter of attitude, they are right. I am a blesses person and so are the people reading it as it shows they have had the blessing of education and they can access to internet. Think Africa, they do not have access to food either.

Here is my gratitude list

My friends and family who love and care for me

My health with everything intact :)

Excellent education that I continue to receive

The company of great people

Employment opportunities

Freedom to do anything I can

The food I eat, the places I can see, the technology I can use

I can go on adding....the most important is that I am alive and I have the blessing to stay in this world and contribute to my and other's well being. Many people die early, do not get any problems, cannot make any mistakes. I can and I will enjoy the thrill of life, with it's absurdities.

circle of concern, circle of control

The circle of concern includes everything we would want to change (for example, the president of USA) and the circle of control includes things we can change.

I live in the circle of control and do not bother about things in the circle of concern.

I will not fret over petty issues. And I have realised that one of the most petty issues in this world over which we think we have control but not quite is MONEY. Think about, there is always a better deal available somewehere and someone will tell you!!! Imagine, I should have been MBA a year back, after all I was admitted to the JAN 07 session. Think of the salary lost and the xtra money I have had to pay. Just do yout best about it and once the deal is done, do not think about it. You will never have enough of it and you can never be absolutely prudent about it.

or let me fix this another way. I have bought the worst deals available in the market and will continue to do so!!! losing money is a hereditary problem ;:)

what a wonderful and meaningful quote this is. Most of my life till very recently I prepared to live! What an utter waste of life. I studied BCOM so when I graduate, I will find some job! I tried chartered accountancy in pain so when I become one, I will be happy. I did all sorts of things so that when I achieve them, I will be happy. The most painful of them all, spent years on the agonising CAT paper so when I get into a B-school, I will be happy!!!

but what about the process!!!! what about the journey??? if you spend 90 years of your life in trying to acheive anything while being in pain throughout the journey, it aint worth it coz life has slipped by.

A goal is something that you would love to achieve and you will enjoy the process of achieving it. ALL THOSE JERKS WHO TRICK YOU INTO SAYING THAT YOU MUST SACRIFICE YOUR PRESENT FOR YOUR FUTURE ARE FOOLING YOU FOR WATEVER REASONS OF THEIRS. IGNORE THEM

They say opportunities come disguised in the form of hard work, so most people do not see them.

I think leadership opportunities come in the form of hard work, dissonance, conflict and possible chaos, criticism and mess which will have to be sorted out by the one who takes the opportunity.

Leaders are gap fillers and it takes a lot to fill the gaps.

I really need a break, have been emphasizing the importance of the journey for some time now but i guess, I have not been enjoying off late. I need to sit down calmly and think again about if I am spending my time on wats important or may be decide wats exactly is important to me from here on.

I really need to slow down a bit and look within, yet again. will happen soon.
