A wolf and a rabbit enter into a bet. The wolf forces the rabbit or it will kill it. That is the only chance the rabbit has. They decide to run and the wolf tells the rabbit,
"if I catch you, I will eat you and if I cannot catch you, I will never come after you"
the bet is agreed upon and hence begins the race. The rabbit runs and the wolf runs after it, runs and runs and runs but cannot catch the rabbit! It gives up.
Having lost the bet, the wolf cannot believe it. It asks the rabbit, "how did you run so fast that I could not catch you?" and the rabbit replies, after heaving a sigh of relief
"you were running for your food, I was running for my life"
It's not who you are fighting, it's what you are fighting for!
Plan like you will live forever. Live like you will die tonight. Yesterdays are dead. Tomorrow is not guaranteed and one day, I shall be right. Fight for your happiness. It's the only thing worth fighting for. The great Aristotle said those immortal words, “Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.” May you find yours.

thought of the day
we will act with courage, rectitude (rightness of principle or conduct) and resolve
we will say in public what we say in private

ships!
ships are not built to be docked at the harbor but to wrestle the seas to achieve a purpose!

we will talk about what we love all our lives!
I met this guy in the morning who said that he wanted to be a pilot always and could not walk on the path of becoming one so far....and he thinks it is too late now may be because he is 22!!!!
well he is only 22! a whole life is in front of him! I told him, " you know Terence, you will talk about this for the rest of your life, that you wanted to be a pilot! And will not be one."
you see, how true is this! we will talk about things we love deeply today, tomorrow, till the last day of our lives. The difference will be either we will live our lives living and doing what we love or wishing that we did.
for people like Terence, there should be no stopping them. Besides being born in a developed country, just 22, he can put his finger on one thing that he wants more than anything else. That is, to want to be a pilot.
how many of us can do that? to put our finger on one thing we want to dedicate all our life to. like Tiger Wood does to golf. like Roger Federer does to Tennis, Sachin Tendulkar to Cricket, Mohammed Younis to Grameen Banks, Amitabh Bachchan to Acting, Howard Schulz to Coffee, Jack Canfield/Ayn Rand to writing, Bill Gates to computers.
That one thing, that matters more than anything else, about which we will talk and think every day of our lives.
