Laash

Pichchle kuch dinon me do apnon ki laash uthayi hai maine
Dil zarur dukha hoga unhe dekh kar
Ke phir kuch likhne ke liye kalam uthayi hai maine

Laash insaan nahi hoti
Insan so kar uth jaate hain
Laash ki neend puri nahi hoti

Insaan sans lete hain
Laash ki dhadkan saans nahi leti

Insaan baat karte hain
Laash ghamandi hoti hai
Kisi se baat nahi karti

Insan hanste bhi hain
Rote bhi hain
Laash na hansti hai
Na roti hai

Insan pyar mangte hain
Laash kuch nahi mangti

Insan ko dard hota hain
Laash ko dard hi nahi hota

Insane gale lagte hain
Lash gale lagne ki hath nahi badhati

Laash kuch nahi karti
Bas chup chap padi rehti hai
Na kuch puchti hai
Na kuch kehti hai

Ek din mai bhi laash ho jaunga
Ek din tum bhi laash ho jaoge
Ek din hum sab laash ho jaege
Chup chap ek gehri neend so jaenge

Laash insaan nahi hoti

Insan laash nahi hota

Incomplete

i sometimes write at the end of some of my thoughts-incomplete. But then, isn't is all incomplete?! isn't how nature intends it to be?incomplete? so many conversations. so many relationships. so many lives, in so many ways.

incomplete.

-----------------------------

imagine life is a huge river. all of us are travelling in our individual boats. When we try to form relationships, we are wondering if the person on the other boat would make our journey better and if he/she is excited about their journey. we are always scared and vulnerable, but we jump our boat. sometimes, it works. sometimes, we have to find a new boat. always, carrying on with our own journey to a finish we have no idea about.

whatever that means.

Doubt your happiness. Trust your pain

Beware of your happiness. Happiness is sometimes a liar, it hides many truths just to exist.

Pain is honest, it never lies.

Doubt your happiness till you are sure it's honest.

Trust your pain.

If I find time over the weekend, I will elaborate.

The pursuit of love is the pursuit of happiness.

Thoughts Thoughts Thoughts...

Thoughts Thoughts Thoughts…

Sometimes, my sleep breaks in the middle of the night and my mind is flooded with a certain kind of thoughts. No matter how much I try to deflect those thoughts or distract myself, it doesn't happen.

Do I choose the thoughts that come to my mind?

No, I don’t.

I have no idea why they do. I have heard myself telling people often that “Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.” Yes, this is the thought by Aristotle right in the description of the blog. I tell my friends that the purpose of my life is ‘happy faces.’ I do things because they make me happy and avoid things if they cause me pain.

However, I am not always successful. Happiness, Charity, anything else that you want to spread out to the world does not begin at home, it begins with us.

I do not choose my thoughts. I do not choose who I like. I just happen to think certain thoughts as they pop into my mind from somewhere and they don’t yield till they have achieved their objective. There must be an objective after all; the world cannot be a random place existing totally in an illogical nonsensical manner.

Actually, I am not sure if it isn't. Not yet, I am still trying to figure this.

Does this happen to you? Do you sometimes get up in the middle of the night and start thinking something and you do not quite consciously realize why are you thinking so?

Perhaps you have never paid attention to the thoughts that appear in your mind and how and why they do. You will most likely not get an answer to the question but still, the question must be asked.

Have a nice weekend!

Einstein's Credo

Some of the brightest words even written by the man of the twentieth century:

Einstein's Credo

My Credo
[Part I]
"It is a special blessing to belong among those who can and may devote their best energies to the contemplation and exploration of objective and timeless things. How happy and grateful I am for having been granted this blessing, which bestows upon one a large measure of independence from one's personal fate and from the attitude of one's contemporaries. Yet this independence must not inure us to the awareness of the duties that constantly bind us to the past, present and future of humankind at large.
Our situation on this earth seems strange. Every one of us appears here, involuntarily and uninvited, for a short stay, without knowing the why and the wherefore. In our daily lives we feel only that man is here for the sake of others, for those whom we love and for many other beings whose fate is connected with our own.
I am often troubled by the thought that my life is based to such a large extent on the work of my fellow human beings, and I am aware of my great indebtedness to them.
I do not believe in free will. Schopenhauer's words: 'Man can do what he wants, but he cannot will what he wills,' accompany me in all situations throughout my life and reconcile me with the actions of others, even if they are rather painful to me. This awareness of the lack of free will keeps me from taking myself and my fellow men too seriously as acting and deciding individuals, and from losing my temper.
I have never coveted affluence and luxury and even despise them a good deal. My passion for social justice has often brought me into conflict with people, as has my aversion to any obligation and dependence I did not regard as absolutely necessary.
[Part 2]I have a high regard for the individual and an insuperable distaste for violence and fanaticism. All these motives have made me a passionate pacifist and antimilitarist. I am against any chauvinism, even in the guise of mere patriotism.
Privileges based on position and property have always seemed to me unjust and pernicious, as does any exaggerated personality cult. I am an adherent of the ideal of democracy, although I know well the weaknesses of the democratic form of government. Social equality and economic protection of the individual have always seemed to me the important communal aims of the state.
Although I am a typical loner in daily life, my consciousness of belonging to the invisible community of those who strive for truth, beauty, and justice keeps me from feeling isolated.
The most beautiful and deepest experience a man can have is the sense of the mysterious. It is the underlying principle of religion as well as of all serious endeavour in art and science. He who never had this experience seems to me, if not dead, then at least blind. To sense that behind anything that can be experienced there is a something that our minds cannot grasp, whose beauty and sublimity reaches us only indirectly: this is religiousness. In this sense I am religious. To me it suffices to wonder at these secrets and to attempt humbly to grasp with my mind a mere image of the lofty structure of all there is."

Thoughts are things!

I realized sometime back that thoughts are things, yes, thoughts are things. however, they aren't my things. they aren't your things. they belong to the ones who owns the rivers, the mountains and everything beyond our visceral comprehension.

Peace

"I have just learnt to accept reality as it is, many times i wish it to be otherwise but i know

that our lives take the direction of our destiny and we can either struggle against it or accept

with composure."

May be you are smarter

"may be you are smarter and were born to be so. may be you understand yourself. i don't. i don't understand why the fuck men do what they do, many times that includes myself and why don't they act otherwise. why some are intelligent and some are dumb. some are rich and some are poor. some die early and some live long. some 'happen' to think of ideas to build companies and some cannot muster the courage to get away from the shackles of their family and society. why an idea that seems impractical to one excites the other. we all seem to be actors to me, acting in an illusion of free will as if we are somehow creating our thoughts and reality.

"may be you have been smarter. i see no one deserving any credit and i see nobody deserving any blame. may be i was born to be this way"

Hypocrites

We crave to be loved by people we love
we crave to be appreciated by people we admire
we crave for food when we are hungry
we crave for intimacy
we crave for victory at pursuits we love
we crave for freedom while bound in shackles
we crave to depend while feigning independence
we crave so much
and we don't show it

I do not decide a thing

Considering all that i have done, i feel that i was born to be a paragon of terrible decisions and their consequences."

Peace and Happiness!

"Peace is the faucet from which the fountain of happiness emerges."

I have always asked and probed externally and within myself what makes people happy. I have asked myself what makes me happy.

Fortunately or unfortunately, human life is replete with contradictions. Nature or the invisible piper of Einstein or the GOD of the rest of humanity has left so many gaps in our understanding that we will probably never be able to answer them and reach a cerebral understanding of 'why things are the way they are?'

I was looking for happiness and I have found peace.

I am not struggling with all of unanswered questions anymore. I know that they will not be answered. There are powers which control the sun, the beaches, the rivers, the entire constellation of planets and galaxies and here we are, thinking that we are the ones who dictate the course of our lives.

Albert Einstein would have known when he said:

"I do not at all believe in human freedom in the philosophical sense…. Schopenhauer’s saying, ‘A man can do what he wants, but not will what he wants,’ has been a very real inspiration to me since my youth; it has been a continual consolation in the face of life’s hardships, my own and others’, and an unfailing wellspring of tolerance. This realization mercifully mitigates the easily paralyzing sense of responsibility and prevents us from taking ourselves and other people too seriously; it is conducive to a view of life which, in part, gives humor its due."

I have been studying the functioning of human mind and also the circumstances surrounding them for myself and people who are close to me for the last year and half.

I, for one, am convinced that my decisions or choices have been influenced else where do my thoughts and desires emerged from? Why did I face the kind of experiences I have?

I do not understand and I have no answers. I know know that nothing else could have been. I could not have thought differently or acted differently and similarly neither could have you.

Accept. Enjoy :)
