and they lived pretending ever after...

i think there is a great disease affecting man and womankind...they pretend a lot...couples pretend to love each other when there is nothing left between them...they pretend that everything will be all right, employees pretend to love their jobs because they think they are not worth anything else or they are plain lazy to move their ass and do something about it, people pretend to be friends when they are actually nothing more than acquaintance or a colleague, i wonder why.

i wonder why people find it so hard to face facts and be real. Let me give an example. I love my mother for what she is. She is not a very smart lady and i love her because she is what she is and does not pretend to be smart. I know how she will behave and i like it or not, she will be that way.

So is the case with other people. People who are the way they are, are not liked by people who live by pretense. Idiots, them all. They say something, feel something, do something else. Sheer pain wherever.

If you are not my friend, do not pretend to be. Relax and take it easy. Life is a series of chapters and we are probably just a small chapter and if we are not a match, you will go your way and i will go mine. Whats wrong in that. Do not gimme crap.

About friends, i tell you. Friends are people who think of you, who admire and care. They stay in touch wherever they are, even if not frequently, but you feel their presence. They do not talk in superficial terms. They are real people, at least my friends, although I have very few. I have become brutal with pretense and superficial behavior and I will become even more blunt with time.

Just be what you are, please. I may not like you and you may hate me...but that's okay. we are not a match, as simple as that. Now I am hungry and need to go for dinner...bye
