What is creativity?

Creativity is the ability to create something that did not exist before- to be able to apply thought and effort into bringing something new into existence!

Anyone who creates something new is creative! YOU are creative.

Thoughts I live by! Do something!

What we think, or what we know, or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence. The only consequence is what we do~~~~ John Ruskin

Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do. Do what you can"
- John Wooden

do something!!!!!!

hang in there! don't quit! don't die yet! Live strong. Die strong

Okay, well, i hate the way i have spent the last 2-3 days! not done.

just hang in there. survive. why? if I just survive, hang around...may be

I will call someone who will guide me to something

Someone will call unexpectedly

I will write a very successful book, i will find public speaking opportunities

I will find a way to start a business

I will start something that will work

I will win a lottery! ha ha

Someone will decide to help, after all!

A ray of light will emerge and the tunnel will end!

all this is only a hope. but hope will exist as long as I do. don't quit. not till your last breath and when will you take your last breath is a decision I don't want you to take!

So, strategy here on:

1. SURVIVE
2. Keep hitting, on hope. Hope, after all is an expectation based on faith.

Keep walking in the tunnel, expecting the tunnel to end. What can I do? Keep walking. Do I determine when the tunnel will end? I don't. Really.

My choice is to keep walking OR give up!

I choose to keep walking. I have fallen a few times. I will get tired and fall again. may be. But I can't give up! why? Because that's not me! That's not the example I want to set. That's not what I want people to know about me. I don't want people to say, "Oh, Amar gave up! He could have lasted some more time and he may have succeeded. After all, he was bustling with talent and energy at his best. He should not have given up!"

No. AMAR WILL NOT GIVE UP. If I win, I will prove to myself and to the world that I won, yet again! If I don't, well, I will have died fighting, walking in the tunnel, collapsed at the end of my energy and power!

Hey, I am up again and walking. It's either the tunnel or me! Die strong. Don't die in the bed! Keep hitting and collapse on the battlefield!

Reading! June 2010

well, to be honest, it's been a lot of reading this month. These are the books I have finished this month:

The autobiography of Nelson Mandela, The long Walk to Freedom

Built to Last (The bible of business books I can safely say, read many so far)

It's not about the Bike (Lance Armstrong's autobiography, extraordinary survival story of a cancer survivor)

I WOZ (Steve Wozniak autobiography, not that great a life story of the co-founder of Apple)

Made in Japan (Akio Morita, Sony)

Now, from next month, I will need to reduce the amount of reading! So, I get time to invest on other useful pursuits- writing and business in particular. Still, I should read at least 2 good books a month.

For business, the rest of the life is not a sufficient time period to apply Built to Last! It's high time to apply all I have read so far!

From Helen Keller's autobiography

Many incidents of those early years are fixed in my memory, isolated but clear and distinct, making sense of that silent, aimless, day less life all the more intense.

on her father: I remember his caressing touch as he led me from tree to tree, from vine to vine and his eager delight in whatever pleased me.

Indeed, my friends and relatives sometimes doubted whether I could be taught.

Curiously enough, the absence of eyes struck me more than all the other defects put together.

"Knowledge is love and light and vision."

The most important day I remember in all my life is the one on which my teacher Anne Mansfield Sullivan came to me.
