dil kuch udas sa hai
kuch dino se
shayad koi apna peeche chhut gaya hai

kuch kuch mana liya hai humne dil ko
... kehke, ke apna hoga to laut ayega.

jo laut te nahi hain
vo apne nahi hote....

to asani se tut jate hain...
dhoke hote hain
sapne nahhi hote

so basically when you don't understand why seemingly educated people go against their own happiness, mostly the reason is this- they don't have the balls to fight for their happiness, so they just capitulate.
