Psychology and Philosophy!

It is important for me to arrive at my own definitions of these two terms since I think my writing will have a foundation of both of them.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Psychology is the study of the human mind, that is, of the process of thinking through the study of such phenomena as perception, cognition, attention, emotion, motivation, personality, behavior and interpersonal relationships.

The purpose of psychology is to arrive at conclusions about how a specific human being arrives at his or her decisions. I believe every human being has a unique process of making decisions or arriving at the belief system. Many of them have underlying similarities owing to their country, family and society. In fact these are the factors determining the process of making decisions.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The word "Philosophy" comes from the Greek φιλοσοφία [philosophia], which literally means "love of wisdom"

Philosophy narrowed down to a single man is the 'belief system.' This means his beliefs about reality, existence, knowledge, morals, death, sex, society, politics, among others. Philosophy, to an extent, is the outcome of individual psychology.

It answers questions such as:

What is true?
What is wrong?
What is important?
What is trivial?
What matters?
How should we spend time?
What is the meaning of life?

The purpose of philosophy is to help men find the meaning of life. His life. That's all.

Philosophy encompasses life. There is nothing in a man's realm of existence that escapes from it. Some subjects could be:

Metaphysics (the theory of reality)
Epistemology (the theory of knowledge)
Ethics (the theory of moral values)
Politics (the theory of legal rights and government)
Aesthetics (the theory of the nature of art)

Happiness and Success are Synonyms!

"Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success."

- Albert Schweitzer (This is half part of his quote. I do not like the second part)

Happiness and success are synonyms. If you think you are successful, you must be happy. For if you are not happy, your success has no meaning whatsoever! If you are happy, you are successful. Success is the achievement of happiness. There is no distinction between the two. Go for happiness. You will be successful.

I am going to say something that I will practice for the rest of my life....

Success is HAPPINESS!!!

if you are not happy doing whatever you are doing today, if you are doing something you hate or something you dislike- you are leaning against the wrong ladder!!!!! you are climbing the wrong mountain!! it's not a target meant for you, not worth pursuing!

If you are not happy doing what you are doing today, you are not successful! you life is a failure....not matter how much money you have made and whatever you have achieved in material terms! success is happiness. success is victory doing what you love! if you are doing what you love essentially, naturally, man you are a success....

happiness is the key to success! do what makes you happy, follow people who make you happy, do whatever it takes to bring a smile to your heart, it will come to your lips brightly. and contribute to this world in your own way by doing what you are sent here to do!

Go. Be happy. Success will follow.

Amar

My Friend Hary

Hary called me today from Bombay. He has been there for about 5 years struggling to an actor and choreographer for about 5 years without any results. He does not know when he will get results.

Ever since I have known him for over 10 years, he has worked hard to be a choreographer and actor. I attended an acting class with him once and some dance classes also while we were both in undergraduate college.

He called me today and asked why I have not been in touch. I told him that I have been laid off and withdrawn myself a bit and he rebuked me :) and sent me a few messages later.

The END- Effort never dies

NO- Next Opportunity

I do not understand Hary. He is unreal. He has no idea about business and the world. All he cares about is what he wants to be! years and years have gone by without results and he persists without any idea when the tunnel will end.

I will be one of the happiest people to see him succeed. I hope he is not denied.

all the best hary.
