The Strength of the human spirit! My heroes!

There have been times in my life when life hit me pretty hard! There have been times when I was tempted to just give up! These days I am being tested yet again.

But then, who am I to give up?! Do I think that I am suffering the most? What makes me think so. There have been and there still are innumerable people who are facing insurmountable odds and fighting with life day and night!

When I think of them, it gets easier to leave the bed and face consciousness again and....fight! The 3 people in this post continue to inspire me to never never never give up.

Helen Keller was born a normal child. At 19 months of age, she encountered an illness that left her blind and deaf. She lived, wrote and spoke about the glory of life till she died at 87. I salute your spirit, Helen.

If Nick Vujicic can gather the courage to rise and fight, without hands, without legs, well, so can I!

If Nelson Mandela can spend 27 years in a prison cell and emerge to lead a nation, well, who am I to wince!

The human spirit is powerful. It's strong beyond all imagination. Them, my heroes.

I will fight till I breathe my last!
